The process
How much does a Professional Organiser cost and how does it work?
Once you get in touch we will arrange a no obligation call to discuss how I can help you. We will discuss your space and your aspirations for it. Once you have booked in a session, we will begin the process of decluttering items that don't belong there or are no longer useful. All decisions will be made by you, and I will be there to provide guidance and support. No items will be removed without your consent. I take a gentle approach and will work at your speed.
Once we have decluttered, I will help you to organise the space so that it flows correctly and everything has a place of its own. I can, if required, remove items to be donated to charity (up to a car load each session).
I don't recommend buying new storage before this process begins but if you wish to buy new storage at the end I can make recommendations for something suitable.
Decluttering and organising
My general decluttering service is available to help you get on top of your home or business. Whether you need help with a kitchen cupboard (we all have that drawer of doom!), your wardrobe, a whole room or the whole house. If there is an area you are struggling with, why not book a free consultation with me, this is done by phone and takes no longer than 30 minutes. Alternatively send me a message or call me and I will get back to you.
Paperwork and home admin
Paperwork can easily pile up and become out of control and with so many of us working from home or running a small business from home this area can easily overwhelm. I can help you take back control of your paperwork mountain. I often also help clients with their ongoing home admin. Book a free consultation if you would like to chat more and find out how I can help you climb the paperwork mountain and set up filing systems to keep organised in the future.
Virtual services
If you don't live in the Chorley and Lancashire area or prefer to meet via video call, I also offer a virtual organising service. We can connect via Zoom or FaceTime to declutter and organise your space. I can tackle all of the same tasks virtually as I can in person. Virtual decluttering sessions are a minimum of 1 hour long and a maximum of 2 hours long.
Moving home or selling (including due to bereavement)
Moving or selling a home can be a stressful time. Using a professional organiser can help alleviate a lot of the stress involved with this process. I can help declutter items throughout the home and remove up to a car load of items to donate to charity per session or advise on where best to sell more valuable items. I can help with packing or unpacking as required.
If you are moving house, decluttering before packing can save you money - you are only paying the removal company to transport what you really need.
